Applications

It can be used for many different types of architectural projects, from large roof applications to building envelopes.

Lightweight

It is a lightweight material that is used in construction to reduce costs whilst complying with wind load requirements.

Colours

The panels are available in a wide range of colours, which can be more or less translucent depending on the treatment.

Mechanical Resistance

It has a particularly high resilience to impact from hail and debris, so will meet safety standards for all environments.

Transparent

The presence of natural lighting creates a more comfortable environment whilst also ensuring good thermal insulation.

IR Treatment

This innovative surface treatment blocks infrared rays (IR), which ensures exceptional comfort inside the building.

UV Technology

The panels can also be coextruded with an innovative compound of UV absorbers, which are effective and long lasting.

Isolation

The structure of the panels and the exploitation of the air contained within the cells ensure high thermal performance.

Why use Tek28 by Alubel?

With more than 50 years experience, you can rely on Alubel for the provision of innovative and excellent quality roofing in the form of Tek28. This is a roofing and cladding system that combines corrugated metal sheet with insulation in order to achieve high performance. The line is compatible with the Alubel 28 range, which includes clear polycarbonate sheeting.

Applications

It can be used for many different types of project, from industrial and civil roofing to making old roofs safe.

Treadability

The structure of the panels eliminates the risk of denting (which bare metal is generally subject to), making maintenance easier.

Noise Reduction

The production process used means that the metal roof will not vibrate upon impact of rain or hail; it instead absorbs the noise.

Condensation Reduction

The layer of polyurethane inside the roof interrupts contact between the inside environment and external roof sheet.

Ventilation

The layer of high density polyurethane reduces thermal shock in the ventilation gap, allowing it to provide much better results.

Curving

A variety of processes can be employed if you require the Tek28 panels to be curved, from calendering to notching.

Thermal Bridge Elimination

The heat load bearing on the surface of the panel is reduced by around 30%, ensuring that the space below is comfortable.

Galvanic Corrosion

Any kind of contact between the sheet and the underlying structure is avoided due to the layer of polyurethane.
